Completed Key Infrastructure Projects

In the 2015/16 financial year the City spent a record $68 million on Capital works projects in an effort to help stimulate the local economy.

Many of these projects greatly improved access and inclusion ensuring all members of our community can enjoy the amenities our City has to offer regardless of their level of ability.

The largest undertaking by far was the West End Revitalisation Project which involved four major projects including the construction of the Youth Precinct and the Geraldton Multipurpose Centre, the refurbishment of the Original Railway Station and the development of the Esplanade (Eastern Breakwater).
