The design and delivery of our programs and services is guided by the City's Youth Strategy.

Youth programs & events

We run epic programs and events all year round – some are just for fun, others help you build skills or get involved in the community. Here are a few highlights:

Battle of the Bands – This is Geraldton’s ultimate music showdown, where local bands take the stage to compete for glory. Whether you're a performer ready to rock the crowd or a fan there to support your mates, the energy is electric.

Give it a Go – Give it a Go is a high-energy event packed with physical challenges, interactive games, and social fun

Passport 2 Employment – This is more than a workshop—it’s a launchpad for your career. Passport 2 Employment equips young people with practical skills, confidence, and connections to step into the workforce.

Revolve Skate Series – Skateboarding competition for skaters of all abilities.

A Day in the Laneway - Set in Rocks Laneway, this maker’s market provides an opportunity for young creatives to show off their merchandise and sell home-made products in the award-winning thoroughfare.
