Usekh Collar Craft

Past Event

The golden Usekh collar was a popular style of necklace in Ancient Egypt, worn as early as 2600BC.

Made from gold and adorned with treasures like red carnelian, blue turquoise, and coloured glass, these beautiful accessories were fit for royalty! Join us in the Museum for this hands-on craft activity, where you can design your very own Egypt-inspired necklace.

A perfect way to bring a piece of history home!
