COVID-19 Information

.

Community health and safety has always been a top priority for the City of Greater Geraldton as the current health crisis continues to be monitored closely and the situation changes rapidly.

The community is reminded to help stop the spread and keep facilities open by complying with the required restrictions that will be in place at many City facilities.

On Monday 28th February, the State Government announced that WA will enter Level 2 restrictions from 12:01am Thursday 3rd March.

See below how this has impacted our programs and services:

PROOF OF VACCINATION
Proof of vaccination is not required to visit Aquarena. However, proof of vaccination is required to access dine-in facilities at the Café.

FACE MASKS
Mask-wearing is required for all adults and children in Years 3 and above when inside the centre, except if you are swimming in the pools or are able to provide a medical exemption.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING
The 2sqm rule applies throughout the centre and in the pools. The Hydrotherapy pool has a maximum capacity of 25 patrons at any one time. Group fitness classes are subject to the 2sqm rule.

COMMUNITY SPORT
No spectators except for parents or guardians, including swimming lessons, squad training or sporting events.

The situation is evolving and the City endeavours to provide accurate information to patrons as timely as possible. Your patience and understanding is appreciated during these uncertain times.
