Greater Geraldton road works

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that road resurfacing and associated works will begin the week of Monday 14 September 2026 and take approximately one to two days to complete at each of the following locations.

  • Crowther Street between Dampier and Fraser Streets in Beachlands
  • Hutchinson Street between Durlacher and Gertrude Streets in Geraldton
  • Stroud Street between McGauran Lane and Francis Street in Beachlands

Road resealing and associated works will also begin week of Monday 14 September 2026 and will take approximately one day to complete at each of the following locations.

  • Betula Street between Diosma Street and Rifle Range Road in Rangeway
  • Border Drive and Corriedale Close intersection in Deepdale
  • Burges Street between Molster and Short Streets in Mullewa
  • Dean Road from SLK 0.03 to 0.77 in Pindar
  • Eaton Place in Wonthella
  • Hall Road between Tramway Road and Mary Street in Waggrakine
  • Kenny Cresent cul-de-sac in Utakarra
  • Mingenew-Mullewa Road from SLK 0.0 to 2.32 and from SLK 19.8 to 21.6
  • Short Street between Burges Street and View Street in Mullewa
  • Williams Road from SLK 9.97 to SLK 10.45 in Pindar

 

During the works these roads may be temporarily closed with detours in place.

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.

The City appreciates your patience while these works are being completed.

These works are part of the City’s 2026/27 Road Renewal Program which will see more than 7.6kms of roads resealed or resurfaced.

These works align with the Liveable theme of the City’s Strategic Community Plan which reflects the organisation’s commitment to the maintenance and connectivity of the transport network.
