Rocks Laneway has seen a surge in fun filled activities thanks to a variety of community activations popping up in the space.

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn was pleased to see the latest figures on usage of the space.

“CBD activation remains a top priority for the City, so its been heartening to see the steady increase in both events held and engagement figures in Rocks Laneway,” he said.

“The space has proven to be a popular venue of choice, with 49 regular and one-off events taking place with over 3,000 attendees in the March and April period.

“I’m excited to see what new and creative ways the community will use the space in the coming months.”

Lead by the City’s Economic Development team in consultation with the team at Euphorium, visitors and locals alike can enjoy a wide variety of events in the space almost daily.

Popular events so far have included A Day in the Laneway, Buy Nothing Market, a dessert night, the baby and kids’ market, tinkering wooden creations, jar of arts activities and clothes swaps, just to name a few.

CEO and Co-Founder of Euphorium Julian Canny was invigorated by the community’s response to the project.

“Rocks Laneway is such a versatile space and we have loved helping it reach its full potential,” he said.
