Help the kids burn off all that Easter sugar with yet another action-packed Autumn School Holiday Program!

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn was hopping happy to deliver the newest edition of the School Holiday Program.

“As always, the School Holiday Program is chockers with all the favourites kids love as well as some fresh additions,” he said.

“From soccer clinics and wheelchair basketball to workshops galore, there is something for everyone.

“Grab a printout for a list of City hosted events or head to our website to see the full range of activities on offer.”

City hosted activities include soccer clinics and wheelchair basketball, Dungeons and Dragons sessions as well as a Foreshore photo scavenger hunt.

Other special events include calligraphy workshops, sessions with Kalimba Creations and skate skills clinics.

Geraldton Regional Art Gallery is getting in on the fun with painted patchwork sessions and Geraldton Regional Library is hosting a curious writing workshop.

Making its debut on the program is ‘A Day in the Laneway’ - a maker’s market especially for young creatives aged 10-26. It will take over Rocks Laneway on Saturday 15 April from 10am until 2pm as part of WA Youth Week 2023.

Other family favourites including Films on the Foreshore and Sundays by the Sea, as well as yoga sessions are also on the calendar.

Registrations for many of these events are essential via Eventbrite and details can be found on the City’s website.

In addition to the City ran events on the physical program, a variety of additional events hosted by external providers can also be found on the City’s events calendar.
