Feral Pest Animals

What is a feral or pest animal?

A feral or pest animal is an animal species that has been introduced (intentionally or accidentally) and its impacts on the environment, economy and heritage values of the area now outweigh its benefits especially in an agricultural setting. Animal pests normally have a widespread distribution and often are a nuisance. High priority feral animals and pests managed by the City of Greater Geraldton include cats, European honey bees, European rabbits and Corellas.
