TALENT POOL AIMS TO ASSIST ABORIGINAL YOUNG PEOPLE SECURE THEIR FIRST-TIME JOB AS QUALIFIED POOL LIFEGUARDS, POOL MANGERS, AQUATIC TRAINERS, OR SWIM TEACHERS.
RLSSWA will deliver a concurrent Bronze Medallion and Aquatic Trainers providing an opportunity to complete or renew a Bronze Medallion and qualify educators or those working with young people to become Aquatic Trainers.
Young people who are 16 years and over will complete a Bronze Medallion which, alongside a Senior First Aid Certificate, is the minimum qualification needed to be employed in the aquatic industry.
Adults who are 18 years and over can also complete their Aquatic Trainers qualification which allows the delivery and assessment of Bronze Medallion and resuscitation courses. This is suitable for those professionals in the aquatic industry, educators, and youth workers.
