Governing an organisation requires rules, norms and actions. Governance is the way the rules, norms and actions are structured, sustained, regulated and held accountable.

This training provides an introduction to the legal obligations and core activities of Boards and management committees. It aims to give participants a foundation in governance and best practice strategies for a high functioning and effective Board.

As a board member you are part of the governance body of the organisation. As such you are entrusted with the legal and ethical running of the organisation. This training ensures you have the right foundation knowledge to be able to do this. This course will include the following:
