Geraldton Foreshore – Hire Shack
In accordance with Section 3.58 (3) of the Local Government Act 1995, the City of Greater Geraldton gives public notice of the intent to lease a portion of Crown Reserve 50100 comprising a land area of 30m2 for the purpose of a sea container ‘Hire Shack’ to Mr Peter Berryman.
A current ground market valuation of $164.50 per square metre established the commencement lease fee of $4,935 (exc. GST) per annum for a lease period of three (3) years with two (2) further term options of three (3) years increased annually by CPI. The two further term options will be subject to a current ground market valuation to determine the lease fee.
Prior to commencement, applicable approvals from the Department of Transport for gazetted water usage must be acquired, and an appropriate water craft for emergency response is to be on hand at all times. The proposed hire equipment will be restricted to non-powered craft for both land and sea use.
The proposed hours of operation are 9.00am to 5.00pm, 7 days per week.

Geraldton Foreshore – Ice Cream and Dessert Kiosk
In accordance with Section 3.58 (3) of the Local Government Act 1995, the City of Greater Geraldton gives public notice of the intent to lease a portion of Crown Reserve 50100 comprising a land area of 50m2 for the purpose of a sea container Ice Cream and Dessert Kiosk including the alfresco dining furniture, to Ms Karen Sanders.
A current ground market valuation of $164.50 per square metre established the commencement lease fee of $8,225 (exc. GST) per annum for a lease period of three (3) years with two (2) further term options of three (3) years increased annually by CPI. The two further term options will be subject to a current ground market valuation to determine the lease fee.
The proposed hours of operation are 9.00am to 5.00pm, 7 days per week.
