Woorree Dog Park works

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that electrical upgrade works at the Woorree Dog Park on Rowan Road will begin on Tuesday 3 November 2026 and are expected to take approximately five days to complete.

The works involve trenching and the installation of electrical infrastructure to enable the conversion of the existing gas barbecue to an electric barbecue.

Works will be undertaken between 7am and 3.30pm each day. To ensure community safety the southern section of the Dog Park will be closed during these hours while works are underway.

The northern section of the Dog Park will remain open and accessible throughout the works.

These works align with the Liveable theme of the City’s Strategic Community Plan and reflect the organisation’s commitment to investing in community and recreation infrastructure.
