Tree maintenance works in Geraldton

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise tree pruning and the removal of two dead trees in the CBD will begin on Tuesday 29 September 2026 and take approximately two weeks to complete.
The hours of work will be between 7am and 3pm with temporary road closures and detours in place.
As part of the City’s ongoing tree management program, trees are assessed by a qualified arborist in which two were identified as posing an unacceptable risk to public safety due to their condition.
The City is committed to maintaining a healthy urban tree canopy and only removes trees when necessary to protect pedestrians, motorists, properties and infrastructure.
