Temporary closure of Youth Precinct

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise redevelopment of the Youth Precinct on the Foreshore will begin on Monday 27 July 2026 for a period of approximately six months.

To ensure community safety the Precinct, including the toilet block, will be closed to the public.

Temporary public toilets will be available in the Stow Garden carpark.

During work hours, the eastern entrance to the Stow Gardens car park will be restricted. Access to the carpark will be available via Francis Street. The Sail Inn Snack Bar car park will remain open and accessible at all times.

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.

The City appreciates your patience while these works are being completed.

Lotterywest is providing $1,707,300 in grant funding to complete the works.

This project aligns with the Liveable theme of the City’s Strategic Community Plan which reflects the organisation’s commitment to investing in community and recreation infrastructure to support current and future needs.
