Geraldton road works

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that the following road resealing and associated works will be undertaken:

• Albert Street between Arnold Street and Bayly Street in Beresford
• James Street between Johnson Street and Eastern Road in Geraldton

The works will take place on Tuesday 27 October 2026 and take approximately one day to complete at each location.

During the works these roads may be temporarily closed with detours in place.

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.

The City appreciates your patience while these works are being completed.

These works are part of the City’s 2026/27 Road Renewal Program which will see more than 7.6kms of roads resealed or resurfaced.

These works align with the Liveable theme of the City’s Strategic Community Plan which reflects the organisation’s commitment to the maintenance and connectivity of the transport network.
