Geraldton road works

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that road kerbing and associated works will begin the week of Tuesday 29 September 2026 and take approximately 14 days to complete at the following locations:

  • Albert Street between Bayly Street and Arnold Street in Geraldton
  • Amos Place from Solomon Circle to the cul-de-sac in Karloo
  • Beattie Road between Chapman Valley Road and Adelaide Street in Waggrakine
  • Broadfield Close from Archer Street to the cul-de-sac in Utakarra
  • Conway Street from Crowther Street to the cul-de-sac in Beachlands
  • Cunningham Street between Marine Terrace and Augustus Street in Geraldton
  • James Street between Johnston Street and Eastern Road in Geraldton
  • Kononen Place from Phelps Street to the cul-de-sac in Beresford
  • Ruth Street between Abraham Street and Solomon Circle in Karloo
  • Sheldon Place from Glendinning Road to the cul-de-sac in Tarcoola Beach

During the works traffic management will be in place.

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.

The City appreciates your patience while these works are being completed.

These works are part of the City’s 2026/27 Kerb Renewal Program which will see more than 3.5km of Kerbs resealed or resurfaced.

These works align with the Liveable theme of the City’s Strategic Community Plan which reflects the organisation’s commitment to the maintenance and connectivity of the transport network.
