Geraldton footpath works

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that the following footpaths will be renewed:

• Rifle Range Road between Eastward Road and Cassia Street in Rangeway
• Cassia Street between Hovea Street and Rifle Range Road in Rangeway
• Durlacher Street between Hutchinson Street and Currell Way in Geraldton
• Evans Road in front of Walkaway Primary School in Walkaway

The works will begin the week of Monday 5 October 2026 and take approximately six days to complete at each location.

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.

The City appreciates your patience while these works are being completed.

These works are part of the City’s 2026/27 Footpath Program which will see more than 2800m of footpaths built new or renewed.

These works align with the Liveable theme of the City’s Strategic Community Plan which reflects the organisation’s commitment to the maintenance and connectivity of the active transport network.
