Get ready to be spoilt for choice with activities these school holidays as the City of Greater Geraldton launches the summer School Holiday Program.
Designed to make the most of the warmer weather for the school break, the Program will have a mix of old favourites and new activities on offer with a wide variety of options available for all ages.
City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Jerry Clune said fun is sure to be guaranteed these holidays.
“The summer break is always a fantastic and fun time for our community and with a bumper School Holiday Program, Geraldton will have a lot on offer for young people,” he said.
“I’m particularly thrilled to see the volume of activities taking place at the Geraldton Youth Centre, with more activities being delivered than ever available for those aged between 10-17 years.
“Whether your child is looking for a new hobby or wants to join friends for a particular event, the Program has been developed to offer something for everyone.”
Events on offer include basketball clinics, cooking classes, photo embroidery, indoor volleyball, indoor soccer and so much more.
The City would like to thank Rio Tinto for their support of the Program through the Youth Vibrancy Partnership.
This program reflects the City’s commitment to supporting and celebrating our diverse community through programs that build social connections and also aligns with the Geraldton Youth Strategy 2024 – 2029.
