The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that the parking lot adjacent to the Geraldton Visitor Centre will be closed for the setup of the Wind on Water Festival on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 April from 6am to 12am.
With this parking area closed, the City is pleased to provide free parking throughout the CBD over the weekend.
Boats and RVs will be able to park behind Mid West Ports Authority, however, penalties apply for light vehicles parking in this zone without the appropriate permits.
Access will also be restricted on the pathway between the Geraldton Multipurpose Centre and Youth Precinct between the hours of Thursday morning to Monday morning.
