Winter is here and the City of Greater Geraldton’s School Holiday Program is tuning up the heat.
Jam-packed full of activities to suit all tastes, young people in Geraldton have no excuse for being bored over the upcoming school break.
City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Jerry Clune said the program featured exciting new elements as well as tried and true favourites.
“Winter weather can offer challenging conditions for keeping the young ones entertained so let us take the stress out of planning what to do over the holidays,” he said.
“These school holidays we have some fantastic additions to the schedule including the Youth Brunch Karaoke at Regional Sounds, Minisport sessions and Monsterball’s inflatable course.
“Whether your child is looking to try something different, get creative or make friends I encourage parents to head to the City’s website or Humanitix to book places before they run out.”
Other events on offer include surfing, planting, art, crafts, basketball, stargazing, football, soccer and so much more.
The City would like to thank Rio Tinto for their continued support of the School Holiday Program through the Youth Vibrancy Partnership.
This program aligns with the Connected theme of the City’s Strategic Community Plan and reflects the organisation’s commitment to supporting and celebrating the community through programs, initiatives and events that build social connections.
