An exciting announcement is right around the corner and City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn is already priming Wind on Water Festival (WoW Fest) 2020 to be the biggest one yet!

With a headline act now confirmed, an announcement will be made on Friday 15 November for WoW Fest 2020 which will take place on the Easter long weekend on 11 and 12 April.

Mayor Van Styn is already pumped for the announcement, saying it’s one of the biggest acts to ever hit Geraldton.

“The headline act which is about to be announced is going to blow our community away,” he said.

“I can safely say it’s one of the biggest acts to play in Gero and I know WoW Fest 2020 will be huge.

“Keep your eyes peeled, we can’t wait to share this news with you.”

Heading into its third year, WoW Fest has seen the likes of The Veronicas, San Cisco, The Temper Trap and Tkay Maidza all grace the Foreshore for Geraldton’s premier event.

Celebrating everything loved about Geraldton, the two-day festival will also have a big emphasis on music with a swag of exciting program elements to be announced early next year.

Differing from previous WoW Festivals – the concert element will take place on a Saturday evening, 11 April with activities continuing on Sunday 12 April.

The headline act and ticket prices will be announced at 7am on Friday 15 November on the City’s Facebook page.
