Businesses, investors, developers and industry operators on the hunt for a new location are invited to submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) to purchase and/or lease land within the strategically located Geraldton Airport Technology Park (GATP).

Positioned adjacent to Geraldton Airport, the GATP presents a unique opportunity for organisations seeking a base with excellent transport connectivity and strong growth potential.

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Jerry Clune said the Airport Technology Park offers significant advantages for a range of industries looking to establish or expand their operations.

"Greater Geraldton boasts a diverse, resilient and expanding economy spanning mining, agriculture, fishing, manufacturing, logistics, tourism, as well as renewable energy, and we are well positioned for future growth," he said.

“The Geraldton Airport Technology Park is a key regional economic precinct that provides direct access to airport infrastructure and links businesses to major transport networks and the Port of Geraldton.

"We encourage all interested parties to explore the opportunities available and submit an expression of interest outlining how they can maximise the potential of this strategic location."

Key benefits of the GATP include:

  • Direct access to airport infrastructure - ideal for aviation-related operations, aerospace businesses and support services.
  • FIFO and workforce logistics opportunities.
  • Industrial and commercial suitability, with excellent links to major transport routes, state highways, the Port of Geraldton and the region’s agricultural sector.
  • A strategic regional location for businesses supporting mining, energy, defence, logistics and emerging industries.

All proposals from organisations looking to invest and grow in the Midwest are welcome.

Interested parties are encouraged to review the EOI documentation and submit their proposals before Friday 21 August 2026.

Opportunities to invest in the GATP align with the Thriving theme of the City’s Strategic Community Plan and reflect the organisation's commitment to supporting existing business and attracting new investment.
