The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that following the removal of the power poles in the CBD, sections of footpath at Durlacher Street between Chapman Road and Sanford Street will be renewed with works scheduled to commence on Monday 9 April 2018 for a period of approximately six weeks.
The anticipated hours of work will be between 7am to 5pm for Stages 1 and 2. Works include removing the slab path and replacing it with concrete.
These works are part of $941,600 allocated in the 2017/18 Budget for the renewal of footpaths, which will see approximately 1.14 km of the footpath network replaced.
Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.
The City apologises for any inconvenience these works may cause.
