Looking ahead to the festive season, preparation for Geraldton’s biggest Christmas market is underway.

Christmas on the Terrace is set to return Thursday 10 December 2026 bringing together families, visitors and residents for an evening of entertainment, shopping and food.

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Jerry Clune is urging businesses, stallholders, musicians and entertainers to get involved with one of Geraldton’s most popular events.

“Christmas on the Terrace is always a highlight of the festive season and this year we are anticipating it being bigger and better than ever,” he said.

“This event provides a wonderful opportunity for families and friends to get together, support local businesses and embrace this special time of the year.

“While the event is still months away, planning is well underway and I encourage everyone who is keen to showcase their products or services to visit the City’s website and get involved.”

Christmas on the Terrace is a free event taking place along Marine Terrace on Thursday 10 December 2026 between 5-8:30pm.  

Stallholder and entertainment applications are open until Friday 30 October with links to both application forms available on the City’s website.

More information about Christmas on the Terrace, including program highlights, will be released closer to the event.

Christmas on the Terrace aligns with the Thriving theme of the City’s Strategic Community Plan and reflects the organisation’s commitment to contributing to a vibrant CBD.
