Those celebrating Australia Day at the Geraldton Foreshore will be treated to a fireworks display thanks to sponsorship from Midwest Nissan.
The car dealership are passionate about making a positive difference in the community and stock a variety of different vehicle makes including Nissan, Honda, Hyundai, Suzuki, Subaru and Ford.
City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn thanked the company for their support.
“A big thanks to Midwest Nissan for their sponsorship – it’s sure to bring lots of joy and excitement to the community,” he said.
“The fireworks have become such a popular part of the City’s Australia Day celebrations and the Foreshore is always packed to the max.
“It’s because of support from local businesses that we can continue to deliver high-quality events.”
Midwest Nissan Dealer Principal Mike Cocken said the group are excited to be a part of the 2019 Australia Day celebrations.
“There's nothing like a long weekend to get people excited and when it's an Australia Day Public Holiday that makes it extra special,” he said.
“Midwest Nissan would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Australia Day.”
Australia Day celebrations will start bright and early at the Geraldton Foreshore on Saturday 26 January, with the Midwest Nissan Fireworks display igniting the sky at 8.30pm.
