Festival of Lights 2026
Saturday 7th November 2026
Championing and celebrating the rich cultural tapestry of our region.
An evening of colour, culture, music, food and family fun as the Multicultural Festival of Lights turns on at Maitland Park on Saturday 7 November.
Presented by the Midwest Multicultural Association (MWMA), Festival of Lights is a free, family-friendly celebration bringing the many cultures of the Midwest together for one spectacular evening.
This is more than an event it’s a celebration of community, connection and belonging, in regional Western Australia.
This year, the Philippines is our Country in Focus. MWMA is proud to partner with the Geraldton Mabuhay Cultural Association to showcase a special Filipino cultural experience in the heart of Geraldton.
Come along to be entertained, to discover new cultures, to sample delicious food and to celebrate the wonderful diversity of our region.
Many Cultures, One Midwest Community.
