Tropical Cyclone Narelle to impact Mullewa Published on Friday, 27 March 2026 at 11:56:53 AM The City of Greater Geraldton advises that due to the potential impact of Tropical Cyclone Narelle, Mullewa residents unsure of their home’s ability to withstand the weather should prepare and act now to relocate to the Geraldton evacuation centre located at the Geraldton Amateur Basketball Stadium on Eighth Street in Wonthella or seek alternative accommodation. Those attending the evacuation centre are advised to take bedding, hygiene products, snacks and food particularly if you have dietary requirements as well as any essential items such as medications and identification. Pets (except recognised guide dogs for the blind) are not allowed inside evacuation centres for health and safety reasons, so you should make alternative arrangements for them. The City continues to work closely with relevant agencies to ensure the community is prepared for expected conditions.
