Temporary closure of Fraser Gregory Park Playground

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that Fraser Gregory Park Playground in Beachlands is temporarily closed following information from the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER) that an isolated low-level detection result for thallium has been detected in the soft fall.

While it is a low-level amount, the City is exercising caution by closing the playground until the soft fall has been removed and replaced.

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.

The City appreciates your patience while these works are being completed.
