Temporary closure of Francis Street Jetty

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise a scheduled inspection of the Francis Street Jetty and boat ramp will take place on Friday 11 September 2026.

To ensure community safety the facility will be closed between 9am - 2pm.

Recreational watercraft users are encouraged to use alternative launching areas during this time.

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.

The City appreciates your patience while this inspection is being completed.

These works align with the Liveable theme of the City’s Strategic Community Plan which reflects the organisation’s commitment to investing in recreation infrastructure to support community needs.
