The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that multiple unsealed rural roads within the Mullewa district and all unsealed rural roads west of and including Eradu Road North and Eradu Road South are closed to all traffic due to heavy rainfall, with the exception of local residents, until further notice.

Rubbish collection for those residing along these unsealed roads may also be affected during this time.

The unsealed section of Carnarvon–Mullewa Road within the City’s local government boundary is managed by the Shire of Murchison. For up to date road conditions and closures visit: https://www.murchison.wa.gov.au/road-condition-report.aspx.

Drivers are advised to check this report for updates before heading into rural areas.

Local rural residents are advised to use 4-wheel drive vehicles wherever possible, exercise caution and drive to conditions as required to assist with minimising damage to the roads at this time.
