Night road works

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that road resurfacing and associated works will be undertaken as night works on the following streets:

• Chapman Road between Mitchell Street and Elphick Avenue in Bluff Point
• Bedford Street between Newman Street and Crawford Street in Spalding

The works will begin the week of Monday 6 October 2025 and take approximately two nights to complete at each location.

The hours of work will be 7pm - 7am and detours will be in place should the roads be temporarily closed.

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.

These works are part of the City’s 2025/26 Road Renewal Program which will see more than 17kms of roads resealed or resurfaced.

These works reflect the City’s commitment to the maintenance and connectivity of the City’s transport network.
