Foreshore changing rooms and storage facility installation

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that new changing rooms and a storage facility will be installed on the Geraldton Foreshore between Monday 11 May - Friday 22 May 2026.

To ensure public safety the beach access path adjacent to Jaffle Shack as well as the footpath connecting to the Rubiks Cube toilets will be closed during this time.

Several carparks along Forrest Street between Jaffle Shack and the Rubiks Cube toilets will be closed between 5am - 12pm on Tuesday 12 May to allow the structures to be lifted into place.

The toilets will remain open and accessible from the beach whilst the works are in progress.

Community workshops will be held in the coming weeks to design a feature artwork for the new facilities.

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.

The City appreciates your patience while these works are being completed.

These works align with the Liveable theme of the City’s Strategic Community Plan and reflect the organisation’s commitment to delivering and maintaining high-quality facilities to support community health and wellbeing.
