Changes to aquatic facilities for off peak season

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that the City’s aquatic facilities will transition to off-peak season operating hours.

Geraldton Aquarena off-peak season operating hours will commence Monday 20 April 2026.

  • Monday to Friday: 6am - 7pm
  • Saturday and Sunday: 9am - 4pm

 

The Aquarena outdoor pool will remain open until the refurbishment of the building’s ventilation system is completed and the indoor pools reopen in May 2026.

The following aquatic facilities will be closed for the off-peak season:

  • Doc Docherty Swimming Pool in Mullewa from Monday 20 April 2026
  • The Foreshore Waterpark from Tuesday 28 April 2026

 

These works align with the Leading theme of the City’s Strategic Community Pan and reflect the organisation’s commitment to efficiently delivering community services through optimal use of resources.
