From carols to cuisine, Geraldton’s biggest Christmas market is back to spread joy throughout the CBD.

Taking place on Thursday 11 December, Christmas on the Terrace will see Marine Terrace transform into a vibrant wonderland bringing the whole community together for an unforgettable evening of festive fun.

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Jerry Clune said the event is one of the highlights of the year and is a fantastic opportunity kick off the festive season.

“Christmas on the Terrace is about supporting local businesses, enjoying great entertainment and creating memories with family and friends,” he said.

“Every year, the event gets bigger and better and this time around will be no exception.

“From gift shopping and carol singing to simply soaking up the festive vibe, Geraldton’s biggest holiday celebration has something for everyone.

“And remember - you could win one of three $100 Buy Local Greater Geraldton Gift Cards by voting for your favourite festive storefront as part of Jingle through Geraldton,” added Mayor Clune.

This year’s event will showcase a record number of food vendors across two vibrant food courts as well as along the terrace and Rocks Laneway will host a festive ‘Christmas in the Laneway’ featuring youth stalls, face painting and creative arts activities.

There will be road closures and changes to parking to allow for set up of the event and safe access for pedestrians.

Christmas on the Terrace will kickstart from 5pm on Thursday 11 December.

Voting for Jingle through Geraldton is now open until Monday 5 January and votes can be cast via the City’s website.
