Surfers catching a wave, seagulls pinching chips and a couple walking up to the Point Moore Lighthouse are just some of the new designs to feature on bollards in the Geraldton CBD.
Earlier this year a call-out was put to local creatives for new artwork as the existing bollard designs were ending their lifecycle.
City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn encourages the community to check out the new street art.
“The art-covered bollards add much vibrancy to our CBD and is all part of our commitment to ensuring our city centre is engaging, progressive and unique,” he said.
“My congratulations to the creatives selected to have their artwork featured. Each design is eye-catching and individual.”
Successful artists and their works are:

In Memory of Meagan Plummer ‘Tuna Run’ from the 2016 Bollard Art Project has been re-installed.
The 17 new designs depict ‘Midwest Life’ and are available to view in Marine Terrace and Foreshore Drive, Geraldton.
