Seniors Information

The Queen Elizabeth II (QEII) Seniors and Community Centre promotes active, positive, healthy ageing within the Greater Geraldton region. The QEII is conveniently located in the central business district close to the post office, shopping centre and doctor’s surgery on Durlacher St. The contact telephone number is (08) 9956 6636.

The QEII is owned and operated by the City of Greater Geraldton and is assisted by grant funding from the Department of Communities.

Facilities include a lounge room with free tea and coffee-making facilities, daily papers to read and a library. The Seniors computer room enables browsing the internet, and access to the Broadband for Seniors Kiosk and Skype facilities.

Queen Elizabeth II Newsletter

The QEII puts out a monthly newsletter listing useful seniors information, programs and events being held at the centre.

QEII Seniors Resource Centre

The Seniors Resource Centre is a "one stop shop" source of information for seniors and their families on various topics such as the Seniors Card, Safety and Security Rebates, Regional Fuel Card Scheme and also refers to other senior service providers.

Thanks to funding from the Department of Local Government & Communities the vision of the Centre is to promote positive ageing and engagement with the community is achieved with the support of the following service providers:

The QEII is the perfect venue for your next conference, expo, seminar or function. Choose from two large halls (that can accommodate more than 400 people and 200 people respectively), and two meeting rooms.
