Would you like to be on the City's Stallholder database?

We will send you stallholder opportunities for CGG organised events. At times, we may also send you stallholder opportunities from external event organisers. Stallholder applications for external events are entirely managed by the external event organiser, NOT by the City of Greater Geraldton.


Stallholder Details

Fees

For Christmas On The Terrace Stallholder applications all fees are waived. For all other Event Stallholder applications, including Australia Day, fees are applicable for each application. Once the City's Event team has reviewed your application and received all the required Supporting Documentation, an invoice will be sent for payment.

Preference for location of your stall - please note that your requested stall location cannot be guaranteed. Also include additional requirements of stall - can't be in direct sun dues to food safety reasons, early bump-in, etc.

Is power required to operate your stall?
Power info

Power will not be supplied for minor lighting/fairy lights and EFTPOS machines. Please use battery/solar operated lights. Power will only by supplied if it is essential to your stall (ie. food van, if demonstration of your products requires power).

Are you using your own generator? If YES, no additional power will be supplied.
Electrical Requirements
  • Lighting: Please ensure you provide your own marquee lighting for night events.

  • Equipment: You are responsible for supplying your own extension cords, cord covers, and ensuring all cords are appropriately tagged and tested.

  • Power Allocation: The City of Greater Geraldton will calculate your power requirements using the information you provide. It is essential that you supply accurate details, as this enables the City to allocate generator capacity appropriately. If incorrect information is provided, you may not have access to sufficient outlets during the event.

 

Important Notice:

Licensed electrical contractors will be present on-site to inspect all electrical equipment. Please ensure your equipment is tagged and tested prior to arrival. Any equipment not tagged and tested must be rectified on-site at your own expense.


Supporting Documentation

Insurance Info

You will be required to obtain Public Liability Insurance and provide a Safety Action Plan for your stall.

Please Note: If you do not have a current Work Health and Safety Action Plan, you can download a template from the Department Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety website. The City requires all applicants to demonstrate how they will operate safely, via such a plan.

You will be required to attach copies of your Supporting Documentation at the end of this application before submitting.

If you answered NO to any of the above questions, the City of Greater Geraldton is unable to accept your application until these items have been provided.

Stallholder Disclaimer

I can confirm and agree that:
  1. I have read and understood this disclaimer and am signing it to confirm that I voluntarily agree to be legally bound by all its content, in consideration for me to be permitted to participate in the event.
  2. I voluntarily assume all risk of (including but not limited to), physical injury, loss of life, economic loss, or loss, damage or destruction of my property, which may be caused or contributed to in any ways as a result of my attendance or participation in the event.
  3. I will not threaten, commence or continue with any claims, demands, actions, law suits or other proceedings against the City of Greater Geraldton, any members of the Events Team, or any other individual or entity involved in organising any aspect of the event, in relation to any physical injury, loss of life, economic loss, or damage or destruction of my property, which may be caused or contributed to in any way as a result of my attendance at, or participation in, the event, regardless of how that injury, loss, damage or destruction occurs, whether as a result of negligence, breach of contract, breach of any statutory duty or otherwise.
  4. This disclaimer may be pleaded as a complete bar to any types of claims, demands, actions, suits or other proceedings by me, or on my behalf as described in paragraph 3.
  5. I will comply with any Covid-19 regulations in place at the time of the event.
  6. I will not use any banned plastic items in order to comply with WA's Plan for Plastics.
  7. In the event of my activities involving children or youth, I shall ensure compliance with the Council Policy - 4.17 Child Safety and Welfare.
  8. I recognise that the City is the event manager of the event and shall follow all event safety and emergency management directions, and any other reasonable directions by the City required to ensure the safe and successful delivery of the event.
  9. We understand that our application may not be approved, if our stall:
    • Has alcohol promotion as the main purpose;
    • Promotes tobacco or gambling;
    • Is discriminatory in nature;
    • Involves endangered animals or cruelty to animals;
    • Threatens ecologically sensitive areas; and
    • Promotes participation in illegal activities.

Collection Notice

The City of Greater Geraldton collects the personal information you provide in relation to the Event Stallholder Application form so we can deliver the service, process your request, and meet our legal obligations under the Local Government Act 1995 and any other related legislation. Your information may be shared with government agencies, contractors, or others where authorised by law or with your consent. Where required by law, your personal information will be made publicly available, e.g. public registers. The City manages personal information in accordance with relevant privacy legislation and takes reasonable steps to protect it from unauthorised access or disclosure.
