General Information and Conditions A maximum of one (1) banner may be displayed per approved event. Banners may only be displayed for up to four (4) weeks and only in the period immediately prior to the event date. The City may reduce the requested display dates should multiple competing requests be received. Banners must be collected within fourteen (14) days of the end of the approved display period. Any banners not collected may be disposed of by the City. The City of Greater Geraldton reserves the right to reject any application that does not meet eligibility requirements, is inconsistent with City policies, or is submitted for the purpose of advertising a non-City delivered or sponsored event or a commercial activity. Banners will not be approved where the advertising is: considered to pose negative risk or safety impacts associated with alcohol, tobacco, or gambling promotion considered offensive, discriminatory, or in conflict with Council’s vision and objectives The City reserves the right to remove a banner at any time.
