Members of the Public are advised that a Special Meeting of Council will be held in the City of Greater Geraldton’s Chambers, 63 Cathedral Avenue, Geraldton on Tuesday 21 October 2025 at 4.00pm.

This meeting is convened to swear in the newly elected Councillors and for the Council to elect the Deputy Mayor for a two-year term ending October 2027, in accordance with the Local Government Act 1995.

Members of the public are welcome to attend.

The agenda will be available at the City’s offices, Cathedral Avenue and on the website the Friday prior to this meeting.

The Special Meeting of Council and Agenda Forum, that is also being held on this date, are livestreamed.  The Agenda Forum will commence at 5pm.

Annual Meeting of Electors (27 May 2025) and availability of the City of Greater Geraldton Annual Report 2023-2024

In accordance with s.5.29 of the Local Government Act 1995, the City of Greater Geraldton hereby gives public notice of the Annual Meeting of Electors. 

The meeting will be held on Tuesday 27 May 2025 at 5pm in Chambers at the City’s offices, Cathedral Avenue, Geraldton.  The purpose of the meeting is to consider the City of Greater Geraldton Annual Report 2023-24, and any other general business.

Notice is also given, as required under s.5.55 of the Local Government Act 1995, that the City of Greater Geraldton Annual Report 2023-24 is available for inspection at the City’s Cathedral Avenue office and Mullewa District office during normal office hours, and on the City’s website at Annual Reports » City of Greater Geraldton
