Wonthella road works

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that road resurfacing and associated works will be undertaken on the following streets:

• Wittenoom Street cul-de-sac from Marsden Street
• Ainsworth Street from Marsden Street to Phelps Street

The works, which will begin the week of Monday 12 January 2026, will take approximately three days to complete at each location.

During the works these roads may be temporarily closed with detours in place.

These works are part of the City’s 2025/26 Road Renewal Program which will see more than 17kms of roads resealed or resurfaced.

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.

These works reflect the City’s commitment to the maintenance and connectivity of the City’s transport network.
