Temporary closure of Midalias Beach playground

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise maintenance works at the Midalias Beach playground located on the Beresford Foreshore are scheduled to take place on Friday 20 February 2026.

To ensure community safety, the playground will be closed to the public.

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.

These works align with the Liveable theme of the City’s Strategic Community Plan which reflects the organisation’s commitment to investing in recreation infrastructure to support current and future needs.
