Temporary closure of Francis Street boat ramp

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise the streetlight pole located near the Francis Street boat ramp will be removed on Wednesday 11 March 2026 as it has reached its end of life.

To ensure community safety during the works the boat ramp and finger jetty will be temporarily closed from 7am to 9am.

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.

These works reflect the “Liveable” theme of the City’s Strategic Community Plan which reflects the organisation’s commitment to investing in community infrastructure.
