Temporary changes to Aquarena

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise there will be temporary changes at the Geraldton Aquarena to allow for refurbishments to the facility’s ventilation system.

These essential works will be undertaken between February-April 2026.

The indoor pools will be closed during this time.

The outdoor pool, the reception, café and some changerooms will remain open.

Due to limited pool space and the temperature of the outdoor pool the number of swimming lessons for Term 1 will be reduced and Infant Program classes will only be available for children aged three years and older. For the After School Program only Stages 1 to 4 will be available.

To secure a place in the Swim School for term one, community members are encouraged to enrol as early as possible.
