Sandbag filling sites

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise in preparation for the forecast weather conditions associated with Tropical Cyclone Narelle sand and sandbags will be deployed this morning, Thursday 26 March at the following locations.

Please note households are limited to a maximum of ten bags. Community members will need to fill their own bags.

  • Point Moore - opposite Belair Gardens Caravan Park on Marine Terrace
  • Lot 601 Carpark - opposite the Geraldton Regional Library on Foreshore Drive
  • Rundle Park carpark – Kempton Street, Bluff Point
  • John Batten Community Hall carpark – Whitehill Road, Drummond Cove
  • Walkaway Recreation Centre
