Road closures for ANZAC Day

The City of Greater Geraldton together with the RSL Geraldton City Sub-Branch will commemorate ANZAC Day on Saturday 25 April with services at Birdwood House, Chapman Road.
The Dawn Service will commence at 6am and the Civic Service at 11am.
To ensure a reflective and respectful service, the City wishes to advise that the following roads will be affected from 4.30am until approximately 12pm:
- Chapman Road from Durlacher Street to Snowden Street
- Foreshore Drive from Cathedral Avenue to Forrest Street
- Forrest Street from Foreshore Drive to Anzac Terrace
- Durlacher Street from Foreshore Drive to Marine Terrace
- Marine Terrace from Durlacher Street to Forrest Street
Lot 601 carpark on Foreshore Drive will also be closed from 9.30am to 12pm to facilitate the ANZAC Day Parade. Vehicles parked prior to 9.30am will not be able to exit until 12pm nor will vehicles be able to access the entry of the carpark.
At approximately 11.45am there will be simulated gunfire as part of the ceremonies.
The City appreciates your patience during this time and will endeavour to keep disruptions to a minimum.
