Prohibited burning period in effect from October

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that the Fire and Emergency Services Commissioner has implemented a prohibited burning period for the City of Greater Geraldton, including Greenough and Mullewa from midnight Wednesday 1 October 2025 until Saturday 28 February 2026.

Burning permits will no longer be issued and infringements may be issued for non-compliance.
