Geraldton road works

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that road resurfacing and associated works will be undertaken on the following streets:

• Lorna Street between Dean Street and Christie Street in Beresford from Wednesday 11 February 2026.
• Gascoyne Place cul-de-sac in Geraldton from Monday 16 February 2026.
• Gale Road between Reilly Road and the North West Coastal Highway in Wonthella from Wednesday 18 February 2026.

Weather permitting, the works are expected to take two days to complete in each location. During the works these roads may be temporarily closed with detours in place.

These works are part of the City’s 2025/26 Road Renewal Program which will see more than 17kms of roads resealed or resurfaced.

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.

These works align with the Liveable theme of the City’s Strategic Community Plan which reflects the organisation’s commitment to the maintenance and connectivity of the transport network.
