Geraldton road works

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that road resurfacing and associated works will be undertaken on the following streets:

• Deepdale Road between Geraldton Mount Magnet Road and Yarryana Drive in Moonyoonooka from Thursday 5 February 2026
• Thames Drive between Severn Close and Rother Road in Cape Burney from Monday 9 February 2026

Weather permitting, the works are expected to take two days in each location. During the works these roads may be temporarily closed with detours in place.

These works are part of the City’s 2025/26 Road Renewal Program which will see more than 17kms of roads resealed or resurfaced.

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.

These works reflect the City’s commitment to the maintenance and connectivity of the City’s transport network.
