Ellendale road works

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that road renewal and associated works will be undertaken on 2.1km of Nangetty-Walkaway Road in Ellendale.

The works are set to begin on Wednesday 18 March 2026 and take approximately three weeks to complete.

Traffic management will be in place during this time.  

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.

The City appreciates your patience while these works are being completed.

These works are 66% funded by the Main Roads WA Regional Road Group. They are also part of the City’s 2025/26 Road Renewal Program which will see more than 17kms of roads resurfaced or resealed.

These works align with the Liveable theme of the City’s Strategic Community Plan which reflects the organisation’s commitment to the maintenance and connectivity of the transport network.
