Chapman River Regional Park remediation works

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise remediation works to the tracks and trails in the Chapman River Regional Park are scheduled to begin today, Thursday 12 March 2026, and will take approximately three weeks to complete.

During the works the Park and trails will remain open with pedestrian management in place.

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.

These works align with the Liveable theme of the City’s Strategic Community Plan which reflects the organisation’s commitment to managing and protecting the natural environment.
